Markus is Chief AWS Technologist at adesso SE, the leading German IT service provider, and helps customers of all sizes to realize their full business potential through the use of cloud technologies. He loves to leverage the cloud, finding new ways to solve problems and work with cutting-edge technologies.

While using AWS professionally since 2008 he became a part of the AWS Community by founding the AWS User Group in Munich more than 10 years ago and leading it to become one of the biggest AWS User Groups in Europe. He also co-founded the German AWS Community Days events, and was named an AWS Hero in 2016.

Markus loves to talk about tech (especially cloud, performance, and agility) at meetups, universities, and conferences like AWS re:Invent and others.
