About InfoQ Dev Summit

What is the InfoQ Dev Summit?

InfoQ Dev Summit is a two-day in-person software development conference for senior software engineers, architects, and team leaders.

The conference provides senior software developers with actionable insights and practical advice on critical software development challenges.

The summit features practitioner-curated topics and technical talks from 20+ senior software practitioners on today's dev priorities.

Who is the InfoQ Dev Summit for?

The InfoQ Dev Summit is designed for senior software engineers, software architects, and team leaders.

Why is the InfoQ Dev Summit a conference for practitioners by practitioners?

At the InfoQ Dev Summit, we prefer engineers over evangelists, practitioners over trainers/coaches, and team leads over consultants. That is not to say we don't find value in the people on the right; we just prefer those on the left. This simple mantra guides our editorial content. We want to hear from the people who are making decisions and implementations in their fields.

What do you mean by "no hidden marketing"?

Outside of the regular sessions, there might be some sponsored sessions on the agenda. If a presentation is sponsored by a vendor, it is separated from the main editorial content and labeled as sponsored. One of the core values of the InfoQ Dev Summit is transparency; you will never find sponsored content hidden within editorial sessions at the conference.

Who is behind the InfoQ Dev Summit?

InfoQ and QCon international software development conferences are presenting the InfoQ Dev Summit. For over 18 years, InfoQ and QCon have guided senior software development teams with peer-validated, trustworthy insights in adopting new technologies and practices. Our passion to accelerate the software side of human progress is the driving force behind our conferences.
