What is InfoQ Dev Summit?
InfoQ Dev Summit is a 2-day software development conference for senior software engineers, software architects, and team leaders.
It focuses on emerging software trends and innovations in software development and technical leadership with all talks by software domain experts.
We invite university students, interns, software developers, and other IT-interested individuals to volunteer at InfoQ Dev Summit and participate.
What to expect from this Volunteer Opportunity?
As InfoQ Dev Summit volunteer you will help with logistical onsite support during the event – including badge scanning, directing attendees to their seats, registration staffing, conference or/and tutorial room monitoring and other similar onsite event work. Being a room monitor will allow you to attend some presentations for free in return for some help. Typical days run from 7AM to 7PM. Volunteers are invited to attend the conference social as well.
Requirements/Preferences:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Availability both days of the conference is preferred (volunteers who have more availability will be given priority. We will do our best to accommodate specific schedules.)
- Availability between 7AM - 7PM is preferred
- Must provide own travel, transportation, parking, and lodging
Confirmed volunteers will gain:
- Free access to most InfoQ Dev Summit Boston 2025 recorded sessions.
- Free access to our InfoQ live 2025 events! (happening after InfoQ Dev Summit Boston)
- Breakfast and Lunch provided at the venue during the conference
- Special Volunteer T-Shirts
- Special Volunteer Prize Raffle (there will also be a drawing for a prize on the last day of the event – this is for the volunteers only. You will need to have fulfilled at least 2 full days of volunteer work to be able to win.)
- Access to the conference social events
- Volunteer Certificate (if requested)
Please note that representatives from sponsor companies are not eligible to be an InfoQ Dev Summit volunteer.
